Ojo de Agua Mirror
Of all of my best selling geode crystal encrusted mirrors, the Ojo de Agua (Eye of Water in Spanish,) is by far my favorite. It was inspired by the marvelous Cenotes in the northern Yucatan in Mexico where I now live. These are pools of water formed by the explosion of the meteorite here millions of years ago in the limestone, filled with crystalline water of the most remarkable clear blue. The frames is of hand carved cedar, which is painted with silver paint. It is then dressed with hundreds of Celestite geode crystals, which are found only in Madagascar. The color range of the blues is remarkable, from sky to water. The crystals are said to allow you to speak with your Angeles...I believe this to be true, and carry one in my pocket and keep one on my nightstand. It is always good to have angels around. This piece was made for my beautiful house in Merida, Yucatan which was featured in Architectural Digest. There are a pair available, and they were made in 2014 - let me know if you would like photos of the second mirror, There are minor signs of wear, mostly on the back of the frames, and they are wired and ready for hanging. Shipping is included in the cost. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have.
